Hypnotherapy to help the menopause

Do you suffer from hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings or anxiety related to the menopause? The menopause or the period leading up to the menopause known as Perimenopause can be a time of great transition in terms of what is happening hormonally and physically to your body and can be unsettling and challenging. 

The good news is that through hypnotherapy I can help you to relieve some of these symptoms.  There is a growing body of evidence to support the effectiveness of hypnosis as a method of lessening symptoms of menopause. Research has shown that hypnosis, can help the women to reduce hot flushes by 70 per cent after just five sessions, reducing both their frequency and the intensity. Through the use of self-hypnosis (which I will teach you) this will continue to improve and be more manageable. 

I will help you calm the body’s stress responses to the menopause by actively reversing the raised heart rate, the rush of blood, and the sweating.

Whilst you’re in this relaxed state of hypnosis I will work with your subconscious mind to learn to adjust how your brain reacts to temperatures through a number of techniques including visualising cooling situations.

Finally, I will help you to improve many other aspects experienced during menopause including improving sleep, reducing stress, and improving mood. Reducing these pressures may also help with other symptoms linked to menopause such as reduced libido. I can help you regain control over your body, reduce the extent of hot flushes, promote relaxation, and reduce levels of stress and anxiety.
